The Kok Family Farm is our pride and joy and we would like to share what we love with our guests.

Be sure to bring what you need (pack an extra liter or two of milk and make sure you have enough snacks for the kids) as the closest town, Wupperthal, is a 45min drive.

“Amazing location, and lovely amenities.”

A near-perfect getaway! Amazing location, and lovely amenities. The hot tub is a treat ! The kitchen is very basic but gets the job done. The fireplaces are essential in winter and I would definitely pack an extra blanket/sleeping bag if visiting in the colder months. We felt very welcomed and would most certainly visit again!

“Majestic and peaceful”

Majestic and peaceful. This place is exactly what you need if you wish to break away from the city hustle and bustle life. We were a large family and this worked extremely well for us. “Fantastic spot and location!”

Fantastic spot and location! Excellent starting point for MTB adventuring to Wupperthal or Cederberg winery and local brewery! No single track needed as the jeep track is rugged, intense and wild!! Big communal space, cozy fireplace.

We loved our stay here! The farm manager was hospitable and helpful, especially with giving direction and hiking routes. The beds were comfortable and there was wood available at the guest house for the braai and indoor fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!

“Excellent location from which to explore”

Comfortable house, excellent location from which to explore Truitjieskraal, Stadsaal caves, Wupperthal, etc. If you go in winter just know that it gets very very cold (the pool froze solid while we were there) and because of the eco-friendly solar powered set-up you can heat the house with wood fire only – bring along a few hot water bottles, lots of warm clothes, red wine and board games.

What an incredible stay!! If you are looking for an off-the-grid, comfortable stay in the beautiful Cedarberg mountains then this is the place. The house was fantastic, well equipped and also has excellent wifi. Would definitely consider coming again.

What a special place, a perfect weekend. Only wished we’d stayed longer. Will definitely be back. The pool and hot tub are fantastic, and covered by much appreciated shading.
